The Ole Miss Young Alumni Council recently selected 36 new members to serve three-year terms.
The Young Alumni Council is a leadership organization sponsored by the Ole Miss Alumni Association, whose mission is to serve as an avenue through which the OMAA can work to increase participation among the young alumni of the University of Mississippi. The Council is open to all young alumni who have graduated from the university in the past 15 years.
“We are excited to welcome these outstanding new members,” said Sunny Brown (BSFCS 09, MA 11), OMAA assistant director of Alumni Affairs. “YAC is a great way to network with over 100,000 Ole Miss alumni across the country. These new members exemplify what it means to give back to their alma mater and further the mission of the YAC.”
The Council strives to inform young alumni about the Alumni Association through its activities and programs. It also works toward making young alumni aware of their role in the OMAA and helps prepare them to build the foundation for their future.
