Dr. Thomas T. Wood is an Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon from Madison, MS. He is a partner at Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists (LOS) and performs a variety of surgical procedures for foot and ankle reconstruction.
While at the University of Mississippi, Dr. Wood was president of the Ole Miss Rugby Football Club and graduated Magna cum Laude as a Barksdale Honors Scholar. He went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he was elected into the Carl G. Evers Society and served on the ASB Council.
Dr. Wood then served 9 years as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in the United States Air Force where he was an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Flight Commander. He deployed in support of Operations Inherent Resolve and Spartan Shield, and served as Surgeon General of the 378th Expeditionary Medical Group. After honorable discharge, he pursued additional subspecialty training in Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgery where he was trained by leading experts at the prestigious Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction in Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Wood resides in Lafayette, LA with his wife, Caitie, and their sons.
