Preethi Saint is the Chief Financial Officer/Vice President – Finance & Business at The Citadel. She oversees key administrative and financial functions, including Auxiliary services, Budget, Financial Service, Human Resources, and Procurement. In this role, she leads strategic financial planning, ensures responsible stewardship of institutional resources, and plays a central role in advancing the long-term financial health and operational success of the college.

Preethi earned her Master of Accountancy and her Accountancy degree with honors from The University of Mississippi, where she was also a member of the women’s tennis team. This experience instilled in her a profound work ethic and a determination to excel, traits that have propelled her through successive milestones in her career.

Preethi is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 15 years of experience in higher education finance and public accounting. Before joining The Citadel, she spent 11 years at KPMG. During this time, she focused on providing assurance services and was part of the national practice. She participated in the esteemed NACUBO Fellows program in 2022-2023.

Preethi is married to her husband, Brandon, and they have two young sons, Douglas(6) and David(2). Outside of work, Preethi enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
