Murray Miller serves as the Legislative Director for Congressman Bruce Westerman (AR-04), Chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee. In this role, she oversees the Congressman’s policy team, advises the Congressman on policy decisions, and advances his legislative agenda. She also manages Congressman Westerman’s role as the co-chair of multiple caucuses.
Prior to her current position, Murray served in the office of Congressman Michael Guest and on the government relations team at International Fresh Produce Association.
Before moving to Washington, Murray lived in Madrid,
Spain, where she taught at the American School of Madrid. A 2015 graduate of the University of Mississippi, Murray grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. Throughout her years in Washington, Murray has engaged in various volunteer roles in her community. She is the Recruitment Advisor at the Chi Omega
Chapter at George Washington University, and serves on Chi Omega’s National Recruitment Team.
Murray served as President of the D.C. Ole Miss Alumni Club for two years, just finished her service on the University’s Alumni Association Board of Directors and was previously part of the Ole Miss Young Alumni Council.
Murray is a member of Redemption Hill Church and lives on Capitol Hill in D.C.
