Mimi Rankin is the Associate Director of School & Library Marketing at HarperCollins Children’s Books in New York City. A lifelong reader and advocate for children’s education, Mimi served as the Coordinator of Recruitment and Admissions for the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College before pursuing a master's degree in children’s literature at the University of Reading in the UK.
Recently named a Rising Star in the publishing industry by Publishers Weekly, Mimi is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion within the publishing industry and the literature it publishes, particularly for children.
She is also a member of the New York Junior League and Vice President of the Ole Miss Club of New York. In her free time, Mimi enjoys international travel, a love sparked by her semester abroad while at Ole Miss, and has visited over 30 countries.
