Golda Sharpe’s career is a testament to the transformative power of education. Hailing from the Mississippi Delta and now based in New Orleans, Golda’s 15+ years in education have been defined by an unwavering commitment to improving student outcomes and empowering educators. Early in her career, as a high school math teacher in North Panola School District, she not only improved student proficiency but also earned Teacher of the Year honors for driving the highest growth in the district. This success launched her into the role of the district’s first math instructional coach, where she continued to inspire positive change.
Golda’s mission has always been to create environments where students can thrive. She’s worked across the country, partnering with schools and charter organizations to drive meaningful, sustainable change. At Instruction Partners, she led initiatives that helped districts refine their instructional practices, deepening the impact of materials and fostering collaboration among educators. Now as the State Director at Bailey Education Group, Golda leads bold initiatives across Louisiana, Texas, and Tennessee, impacting thousands of students. Her visionary leadership focuses on empowering teachers and leaders to rise above challenges, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
