The Ole Miss Alumni Association is rolling out a fresh way for alumni and fans to show their school spirit on the road.
The Alumni Association has introduced a brand-new car decal featuring the iconic red and white Ole Miss script logo. The new design serves as a modern complement to the Association’s longtime staple — the classic rectangular block “M” decal.
The updated decal is designed for high visibility, using a bold red script outlined in white, set against a clear background for a clean, sleek look on car windows. While the original block M decal remains available, the new option gives members and supporters a second way to proudly represent their Ole Miss pride wherever they drive.
Like the block M decal, the new script decal comes in Annual and Life Member versions, with the Life version sporting the distinctive scroll found on the classic decal.
“This new decal is all about giving our alumni more choices in how they showcase their connection to Ole Miss,” said Kirk Purdom (BA 93), CEO of the Ole Miss Alumni Association. “The script logo is one of the most beloved and recognizable marks of the university, and we’re excited to offer it in a format that will pop on vehicles from Oxford to Orlando and everywhere in between.”
The new decal will be offered as a benefit to Alumni Association members at no additional charge. Current members may request the new script decal by calling the Records Office at 662-915-7375 or emailing records@olemissalumni.com. Nonmembers can join the Alumni Association and select either the new script logo or the classic block M decal when signing up at olemissalumni.com/join.
Purdom noted that the new decal was developed following requests from alumni who wanted a design that reflected the Alumni Association’s updated branding and visual identity.
“Our members love the traditions of Ole Miss, but they also appreciate a fresh look,” Purdom said. “This is a way to celebrate both.”
The release of the new decal is also timed to align with football season, when tailgates and road trips bring visibility to alumni pride across the South and beyond. The Alumni Association expects a strong response to the launch, with many members eager to update their vehicles with the new design.
“We think this will become a favorite very quickly,” said Steve Mullen (BA 92), Director of Marketing and Membership. “The script logo is iconic and instantly recognizable — it’s a great match for the pride our alumni feel.”
