Each year the Ole Miss Alumni Association awards distinguished alumni with its highest annual honors during the week of Homecoming. Created in 1974, the Hall of Fame honors select alumni who have made an outstanding contribution to their country, state or the University of Mississippi through good deeds, services or contributions that have perpetuated the good name of Ole Miss.
Nominations are needed to ensure worthy individuals are considered for the 2026 class, which will be inducted as part of Homecoming Weekend festivities with an awards ceremony held on Oct. 15, 2026. All alumni are eligible for consideration. From the nominations submitted, not more than five outstanding alumni are chosen by a seven-member committee. If you know someone who should be considered for induction into the Hall of Fame, please send the following information on or before April 1, 2026. Anyone may submit the name of a University of Mississippi alumna or alumnus to be nominated.

It is essential that the person submitting the nominations send all materials pertinent to the nominee. The Hall of Fame Committee will do no further research.
