The Student Alumni Council/Clay Waycaster Memorial Scholarship
Clay Waycaster’s life touched many people. He was a shining light in his community, his church and here at Ole Miss. Clay lived for Jesus with passion. His zest for life was contagious, and he loved surrounding himself with his many friends. The world and Ole Miss is definitely a better place because Clay has been here.
His enthusiasm and deep love for Ole Miss was infectious. He has been quoted as saying “Nothing beats going to the Grove and an Ole Miss Football game”. Clay’s love and friendship will be long remembered and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Clay was an active member of SAC, along with his sister, Jill, who was president. She and Clay were both very passionate about this organization.
The earnings from this endowment will provide scholarships for deserving SAC Students for years to come. Clay can leave a wonderful legacy to Ole Miss, something for which he would be very proud.
