Special
Positions
All positions are run of the book,
determined at publisher's option.
Special orders guaranteed at 15% premium on
non-cancelable order.
Inserts
Special Rates apply. Prices available
on request.
Frequency Discounts
Frequency discounts are earned on the total
number of insertions made within a period of
one year (4 issues). If at the end of
one year (4 issues), an advertiser failed to
fulfill the contract, billing will be
adjusted accordingly. Orders canceled
before contract expiration are subject to
short-rate billing.
Billing and Payment
Payment is Due within 30 days of receipt of
invoice. Recognized agencies are
entitled to the standard 15% commission.
A service charge of 1 1/2% per month will be
added to accounts 30 days delinquent.
All advertisements are published for the
benefit of the agency and advertiser, and
each of them is jointly liable for all
charges. Accounts not paid within 90
days will be turned over to an attorney for
collection.
Electronic Files
Accepted in Quark (versions 4.0 or higher), Illustrator,
Freehand, and Photoshop formats.
Include all printer/screen fonts, logos, and
linked artwork. All artwork must be in CMYK mode and saved as TIF, EPS,
or PDF. Images must be a minimum
of 266 dpi (resolution) and actual size.
Images should not be compressed.
Electronic File Tips
The dpi (resolution) of a file cannot be
increased. Many digital cameras do not
have sufficient pixel depth to provide
images for publication. Corel Draw,
Word, Word Perfect, or other text-based
formats cannot be accepted as final digital
artwork. PICT, JPEG, GIF, and WMF
file formats are not supported. Use
stylized fonts and do not apply style
attributes to basic fonts, images/scans,
logos/artwork. Do not nest EPS files
in other EPS files. Shipping and
mechanical failures could damage files.
Never submit irreplaceable, original files.
Cancellations
Neither the advertiser nor its agent may
cancel after the space reservations
deadline. If materials are not
received by deadline, the publisher may
repeat the most recent advertisement or
publish nothing, billing the space reserved.
Advertising Restrictions
All contents are subject to publisher's
approval. The publisher reserves the
right to reject or cancel any advertising at
any time. No advertising of alcoholic
beverages or tobacco is accepted. |
