Six Floors and Rising

Exciting new developments are underway at The Inn at Ole Miss. Construction of the new tower makes significant progress daily as the workers have now finished pouring the 6th floor.

“Overlooking the Grove, the new Inn at Ole Miss tower will be a wonderful addition to our campus that can be used by our alumni and friends as well as the current students,” said campaign coordinator Tim Walsh. “This facility will accommodate larger events that we have not been able to hold in the current facilities. It will make the Inn at Ole Miss a destination for anyone who visits Oxford."

Every suite in the new hotel tower has been sponsored, and only 10 regular hotel rooms remain in the existing hotel. The campaign has garnered over $13.8 million in gifts and pledges. An additional $2 million in gifts is needed to help complete the tower. Those not interested in room sponsorship still have other naming opportunities in the sponsorship of chandeliers, benches or alumni bricks.

A live webcam allows alumni to log on to the Ole Miss Alumni Web site and view the current progress of The Inn construction. Completion of The Inn is still set for March 2008 with it opening for business later that spring.
